"What's your name, bass boy?" hehe! look how cute this boy is!

i am so lucky. at least i know it! In other news, I'm behind in my homework and far happier than I have ever been before! whee. Today, I thought the choir was awesome. I felt amazing. Happy Birthday, Dr Copeland!!!! I know you didn't want recognition but when else do we have a right to celebrate you so? It's not like there's a choir director holiday that we know about. Haha! I hope you liked your card, and get a lot of cake tonight! The new Katie was singing and I enjoyed her company. We can keep her if she wants to. More Katies is okay I guess. I'm still Katie Mo. I think our Alto 1 sound was drastically improved today - perhaps because we all showed up. Also I felt loud. I had a lot of fun!!!

And for my mommy:

KEITH!

there's the church, here comes the steeple, religion's in the hands of some crazy-ass people!

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what the criterion was which defined whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.

"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub."
"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."
"No." said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug: do you want a room with or without a view?"

bubbles!

CHEESEBURGER!
we watched a hilarious movie in Arabic. It was wonderful. Hurray for sleeping with your fiancee's mom and bellydancing (what!?) it was tres chic. un-chic. not cool.

This week, I have been very responsible! It sort of sucks! No free time. But I didn't do any homework this weekend because of the conferencec and then on Sunday I did do a little but not a whole lot because I wanted to have SOME fun this weekend and OH I am the Director of RHA next year because I've been in RHA longer than anyone! Isn't that scary?! The very head of the Residence Hall Association! I guess that means I can't break any rules. SOOO I have to go read twenty-five (venticinque!) chapters of Jane Eyre and then about 50 (okay, more than that, but I can say 50 in italiano - cinquanta!) pages of The Hobbit... I'll be okay though! I am on top of things!

Katie-all-together, over and out!

it's amazing how much time we waste during these conferences! We just made sticky foam door tags and I spent probably 40 of my 50 minutes of presentation watching funny videos on albinoblacksheep and we watched Numa Numa and Kozo the dancing hippo and wahoo! But my coffee is wearing off and we're just wasting time - SO AGGRAVATING! but i think i might try to do some of my italian online stuff. buhbye.

So today I was informed that I am a caffeine addict. It seems Dr. Copeland's many speeches on the value of caffeine and too many late nights have led to a heavy reliance on our favorite product: coffee!!!

I honestly think I can claim to have spent more money on coffee than on gas in the last two months.

That's a helluva claim; and not a good thing.

Oh well, I'll be happy when I go broke, until I come off my high.

UM I feel a list coming on.

+ I sang "Hit Me Baby, One More Time" to Donna and Amber in the McDonald's drive thru at the top of my lungs, that was fun.
+ I'm on top of things in all but one of my classes, and I can catch up because I won't have it again until Monday.
- I am expected to work from 9am Saturday morning until 1am Sunday morning this weekend.
+ It is the RHA state-wide ALURH conference and it should be a lot of fun, and free food!
+ I love sparkly sunglasses
+ I love Dave Matthews
+ Keith is funny and told me I reminded him of his mother today.
++++++++++++ THEY MAKE JOHNNY DEPP CEREAL!!!!

laundry time is blogging time! hurray!

I dyed some of my favorite white clothes pink just a few moments ago. In my laundry-haste, I washed my favorite red shirt with several of my favorite hippie shirts :( boooo. I am a clumsy oaf. I can't cook either; I shall never marry.

I have had one of the Sleeping Beauty songs stuck in my head all day. I am glad I know all of the lyrics now:

I wonder, I wonder
I wonder why each little bird
Has a someone
To sing to
Sweet things to
A gay little lark melody

I wonder, I wonder
If my heart keeps singing
Will my heart go winging
To someone
Who'll find me
And bring back a love song
To me

I sang it in the shower for maybe half an hour. I love old Disney songs. They have such a nice, blues-y alto feel. HURRAY sultry alto Disney.

um, i was going to add a picture, and it won't let me, so i'm frustrated. byebye.

"I'm dancing in your Aura!"

If I'm going to make other people blog, I might as well blog myself. Plus Keith was impuning my blogging talents. booo.

Dr. Copeland - I just wanted you to know that I wasn't laughing at you today; Katie K had just informed me that if I kept smiling, she was going to vomit, and after that - really, who could stop smiling? It was funny!

I'm not so far behind in all of my reading as I am in reality because my Af Am Lit class was cancelled today! Hurray! Although I wish I had taken a lunch break into consideration when I made my schedule, it's rough going trying to get lunch if you've got to make it from the BEC and back to the Hulsey in 45 minutes. Running isn't my style, and my brother stole my bike (not to mention, someone would steal it infront of Hixson anyway).

Are you sure we even went over that wrong note in "When I Bring" yesterday? Because I had never heard that before, and I certainly won't be getting it right. I only got it right once in class and then we moved on! Not good, not good at all.

oh well!
all staff time. :( byebye.

edit: I finally understand Clay's blog.

PANIC!!!
why can't professors have their book orders ready on schedule? it's sort of their job, and i fail to see how it would be that hard. My 300 level lit class first thing tomorrow morning is bookless at the moment! Not to mention, I have already spent 376$ on textbooks. ugh. noise complaint. good bye!
